Depending on the technologies used by our website and service providers, technical information may be collected automatically, including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, approximate geographic information derived from IP address, pages visited, referral information, dates and times of visits, and security or diagnostic information.
11. How We Use Information
We may use collected information to respond to inquiries, evaluate devices and eligibility, provide transaction terms, verify identity and ownership, check IMEI, carrier, financing, lost/stolen, or other device information, prevent and investigate fraud, administer Direct Buyouts and Sell-It-for-You transactions, arrange shipping, administer insurance claims, issue payouts, maintain records, enforce agreements, respond to disputes, comply with law, and protect CacheWood and others from fraud or unlawful conduct.
12. When We May Share Information
We may share information as reasonably necessary with shipping carriers and insurers; payment providers and financial institutions; marketplaces and sales-service providers; device, carrier, fraud-prevention, and verification providers; professional advisers; law enforcement, regulators, courts, and government authorities; and service providers performing legitimate business functions for CacheWood. CacheWood does not sell personal information to advertisers merely because a person submits a device for evaluation or enters into a transaction.
13. Data Minimization
CacheWood’s policy is to collect personal information only where reasonably necessary for legitimate business, transaction, security, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes. Sensitive information should not be collected or retained merely for convenience, and access should be limited to persons, systems, or providers that reasonably require it.
14. Record Retention
CacheWood does not apply one blanket deletion period to every category of personal information or business record. Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to complete or administer transactions; evaluate or verify devices; make or document payments; maintain accounting and tax records; comply with federal, Florida, or other applicable recordkeeping requirements; prevent, investigate, or document fraud; administer shipping or insurance claims; resolve disputes; enforce agreements; respond to regulators or law enforcement; establish or defend legal rights; and satisfy other legitimate business purposes. Where multiple legal requirements apply, CacheWood may retain records for the longer applicable period. When information is no longer reasonably necessary for a legitimate business or legal purpose, CacheWood intends to securely delete, destroy, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it where legally permissible.
15. Information Security
CacheWood intends to use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of the information maintained. No electronic transmission, storage system, website, or security measure can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
16. Electronic Communications
By providing an email address or telephone number in connection with CacheWood’s services, you authorize CacheWood to use that information for appropriate transaction-related and service-related communications, including evaluation updates, verification questions, agreements, electronic-signature requests, shipping instructions, delivery notifications, payout notices, documentation requests, price-change communications, return or termination requests, fraud or security communications, and customer-service messages.
17. Electronic Signatures and Agreements

18. Device Data
Customers should remove personal information from devices before transferring them to CacheWood. You are responsible for backing up any data you wish to retain. If personal information remains on a device, CacheWood may erase or factory-reset it as reasonably necessary to inspect, evaluate, prepare, market, sell, transfer, or protect the device.
19. Fraud, Theft, and Legal Compliance
Information may be used or disclosed when reasonably necessary to investigate or respond to suspected stolen property, false ownership claims, financing or lease misrepresentation, insurance fraud, shipping fraud, identity misuse, payment fraud, device-status manipulation, account-lock concealment, criminal activity, or other unlawful conduct.
20. Age Restrictions
CacheWood’s device-purchase and Sell-It-for-You services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older who are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
21. Privacy Requests
Individuals may contact CacheWood regarding questions or requests concerning personal information maintained about them. Requests may be subject to identity verification, legal exceptions, transaction-record requirements, fraud-prevention needs, tax or accounting obligations, dispute-resolution needs, and other lawful retention obligations. A deletion request does not require CacheWood Mobile LLC to destroy information it is legally required or legitimately permitted to retain.
